What's a targeted campaign?
A targeted campaign is how we work with industry and industry associations to help employers improve and maintain compliance with Commonwealth workplace laws.
We target employers in industries and regions we know need intervention and usually those who employ vulnerable workers, such as young people.
Campaigns can be national, state-based or regional.
What's an audit?
An audit or a ‘compliance audit’ is where our Fair Work Inspectors check an employer’s records to make sure they comply with Commonwealth workplace laws.
Sometimes, we undertake an audit or a series of audits in response to a complaint or information we’ve been given by an industry association, a government minister, the media or other source.
