Senate Continuing Order No. 8

Every 6 months, the Fair Work Ombudsman prepares an indexed list of files relating to our policy advising functions, including any relating to developing legislation and other matters of public administration. This is required by a Senate Continuing Order known as the 'Harradine Order'.

The list does not include:

  • files transferred to the National Archives of Australia
  • case related files (eg. personal representations or dealings with the personal affairs clients)
  • files essentially related to our internal administration (eg. staff or personnel matters)

 

For the current reporting period FWO has exempted the publication of all file titles. This was approved by the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations on 21 April, 2010.
