Fair Work Inspectors

Our Fair Work Inspectors are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

They must have high-level investigation skills as well as a detailed knowledge of all relevant legislation and awards.

Fair Work Inspectors have great communication and problem-solving skills with a high level of customer service.

They’re based in many different locations throughout Australia and pride themselves on being able to help the community by creating fairer Australian workplaces.

Fair Work Advisers

Our Fair Work Advisers offer help, information and advice on pay and conditions under the Commonwealth workplace system. 

They respond to incoming calls from customers and explain complex legislation in an easy-to-understand way.

Our Fair Work Advisers have excellent customer service skills and are willing to work felxible hours to ensure our service remains relevant and easy to access.

In an encouraging team environment with on-call help from team leaders, our people get the support they need to achieve.

A team of people

We have a huge team supporting our Fair Work Inspectors and advisers. We have lawyers, policy officers, IT specialists, HR professionals, communications specialists and much more.
